Seen at Swanwick Junction during the Midland Railway-Butterley Vintage Train Weekend on 3rd May 2025 is the Vintage Train consisting of; Horse Box M42608 taking up to 3 horses and built by BR in 1948, Lancashire Derbyshire and East Coast Third Class No. 6 built in 1896 6 wheels and 5 passenger compartments, Third Class No. 78 built in Derby in 1868 (the oldest vehicle in the collection) 4 wheels and 4 passenger compartments and roof rack for luggage, Third Class Brake Coach No. 253 built 1884 in Derby 6 wheels and 3 compartments with guard section, MR Picnic Saloon No. 1260 built 1890 at Derby 1 large compartment with 4 bench seats, George V Royal Saloon No. MR1910 built in Derby in 1912, and Motor Car Van No. 26481 built 1916 in Derby taking cars or chassis.
