HSS!!
This architecturally, is one of the prettiest building in Austin. I was hoping other, similar, buildings would follow. Sadly, it didn't happen. Everyone's going for the sleek look, or what I call boring.
Anyway, update, I went to the Ice Cream festival. Okay, you have to remember, only 2600 people live in Wimberley. So, the festivals here aren't that crazy. In face, it was almost comical. It was 10 bucks for all you could eat. I didn't stay long..;)

Eine der meiner Meinung nach schönsten Lackierungsvarianten für Loks der nez cassé-Lokomotivfamilie ist die portugiesische der CP - orange mit weißen Warnstreifen. Seit einigen Jahren finden in Portugal umfangreiche Reaktivierungen der Baureihen 2600 und 2620 statt, welche zwischenzeitlich komplett abgestellt waren. Die schmucken und zumeist glänzenden Lokomotiven sind planmäßig auf der Linha do Minho im Nordwesten des Landes vor IR Zügen zwischen Porto und Valença im Einsatz, bei unserem Besuch im März 2022 sogar noch ausschließlich vor Corail-Wagen, was auf der zwar frisch elektrifizierten Strecke dennoch glatt als Museumsgarnitur durchgehen kann.
Bekanntes Motiv auf dieser Linie ist der Viadukt bei Durrães, auf welchem eine unerkannt gebliebene 2600 mit dem IR 855 von einer der nicht mehr genutzten, ehemals für die Landwirtschaft angelegten Terrassen von oberhalb des Ortes fotografiert werden konnte.
Tras anunciar hace años la retirada de esta serie de locomotoras, nunca pensé que podría fotografiarlas en servicio.
Sin embargo, gracias a la política de los Comboios Portugueses de potenciar el ferrocarril convencional, podemos disfrutar de ellas hoy en día en la línea Porto - Valença do Miño haciendo los Interregionales que cada día circulan entre ambas localidades.
En la imagen, la 2607 recorre el viaducto de Durrães con el IR857.

First time I saw a Glas V8! I have known about this car, but never did I have the chance to see one. Designed by Frua, who also designed the Maserati Quattroporte at the same time.
That is why this Glas was nicknamed 'Glaserati'.
