Round we go.
More of the same tonight but with added mid-exposure lens swap from 17-40mm (@40mm) to Helios 44-2 on the macro rings.
Not as envisaged but close enough and another enjoyable hour spent watching a small light spinning round.
Zen.
Norfolk Southern's Veterans unit leads hot roadrailer 255 out of Sidney, IL on it's way to Kansas City, where it will be handed off to the BNSF to take it the rest of the way to Saginaw, Texas.

I think I might take this photo or a similar one in the morning, with the orange sun and stuff.
i love all the moods that come through in these. they're all different...
one main reason this scene became so frequented in the latter part of this project was because i was running my office by myself. not wanting to give up the 365 but not feeling the energy to do it led me to this spot. i'm glad i pushed on, because i actually like all these shots...they're very telling of my state of mind, at least to me.
As 147 waits on the main, 255 9816 W pulls down the passing track before waiting for 147 to do their work.
