My main interest is in the people who pass through the exhibition space and in how they interact with the exhibited objects. This has two main aspects - how they more or less consciously engage with the exhibits but also how their appearance (posture, clothing, hair...) might be related to aspects of the objects around them. So what I'm after is the ephemeral and unrepeatable conjunction of spectator and exhibit.

Week 24 / 52 is "water". Since it was raining outside I decided to go with some water drops on some leaves. This is a composite of 6 frames using "focus Stacking" in lightroom & Photoshop CC.

The Zurriola Beach is one of the three beaches in the city of San Sebastián (Spain). It is located between the mouth of the Urumea River and Mount Ulía, and it has an approximate length of 800 meters.

In 1994, some works were carried out to reform the beach, which was previously practically unusable given the virulence of the waters. Thanks to these reforms, which included the construction of a jetty, the beach increased its length, its waters became suitable for bathing and its use multiplied.

Facing the elegant and tranquil profile of the beaches of Ondarreta and La Concha, Zurriola beach has established itself as a beach with a younger profile and suitable for surfing (it is the most open beach with the strongest waves in the the city) and as a stage for some concerts of the San Sebastian Jazz Festival and competitions of Bodyboarding, surfing, skateboarding and similar events.

Miramar Palace, also known as Miramar Municipal Palace or Royal Palace, is an English-style palace located in the city of San Sebastián, Guipuzcoa, Spain. It was built in 1893 by José Goicoa, commissioned by the Spanish Royal Family, based on a project from 1889 by the English architect Ralph Selden Wornum. Located in front of La Concha Bay, it has one of the most spectacular views of the city.

Miramar Palace is purely English in style and has certain neo-Gothic decorative elements. Inside it has certain noble areas that remain faithful to their original configuration, such as the White Room, the Music Room, the Wooden Room, the Petit Room, the Library and the Royal Dining Room. The rest of the palace has been successively renovated since its purchase by the City Council, turning it into a more functional although somewhat distorted enclosure. The last works undertaken there, in 2001, were aimed at building classrooms for Musikene. The tower of the building was later restored in 2007.

In any case, the palace maintains its original external appearance and it is common to hold certain parties in its gardens and public areas, mainly those of the San Sebastian Film Festival.

I belong to a bookgroup. We meet once a month and we take turns choosing the book.

This is January's choice by another one of the members.

I've read many books over the years that were bookgroup choices and ones that I read outside of bookgroup that were amazing and written beautifully. But I think I can honestly say that I've never read a book that is so meaningful and written so incredibly as this one.
