Testing out some Daisy Granny Square patterns I found online today, not too sure if they're what I'm looking for yet so I may keep looking for other options, but I did learn a new stitch (popcorn stitch)!
The two patterns I used for this photo were found here and here.

"I'm NOT impressed".
I've had Bubbles as a potential subject since the wedding.
We had a lot of leftover 'champagne' bottles of bubbles from the special day but unfortunately they only made small 'annoying' bubbles. Then I found an awesome long bubble-maker that made tennis ball sized bubbles, some were even bigger!
Leo didn't really show much enthusiam for the big round things that popped in his face. He'd rather nap.
Lucy, however, showed a mixed response. First off, she didn't like the floating balls that she couldn't play with. She was a little frightened of them and shyed away for a while until I attempted to coax Leo into playing with them. She showed a little more interest after that.
Now if I blow the bubbles, she will leap into the air to pop them!
Leo still thinks they're boring and would much rather nap.
