A walk in the lava fields below Mount Teide - once this was a walk for the determined few but now the top 300 metres has been laid out as a smooth path good enough for wheel chairs and the next 200 metres have been smoothed out. After that as you descend into the caldera you are on your own. What a great investment - thank you Tenerife.
