Großdiesel ist ja immer schön, bis auf die Nohab und G2000. Kann mit den Kübel nix anfangen..darum hielt sich die Freude auch in Grenzen..

As many of you know, I have shot the "227" many times. Many of you don't know that there is a lower section to the 227 and until Monday, I've never shot it. I only went half way down the creek, but I have to say....it's better than the upper section.

Mit einem Containerzugumleiter von der Regensburger Schiene wurde die recht frische 193 227 von ELL an der Ausfahrt von Treuchtlingen auf dem Weg Richtung Süden abgelichtet.
The little dog was my Mum's, reminding her of her Westie "Lizzie", see comments, and it was then treasured by my Dad. Later, my Dad, then aged 101, won the white bear in a raffle, and he named it "Lizzie", and wanted me to have it. They are both now my treasured mementos.

Kurz vor der Zuckerfabrik stehen noch drei einsame Telegrafenmasten und künden von der Goldenen Zeit der Eisenbahn, welche nicht wieder zurück kommen wird.
