226 HF67 EUJ.
After making a fast run up from Meridian, Mississippi, 226 holds the passenger main for a crew change. The train won't sit long. Multiple Amazon prime, Fed-ex, and UPS trailers are onboard. After the train started up, it took no time for the four engines to have the train screaming at track speed towards Atlanta. Taken on a thirty-second long exposure at ISO 100, f5.6.

ES44C4's 801 and 803 with a tender riding in sandwich position lead train 226 north across the signature bridge shot at Saint Augustine FL. This was the second of three trains that would roll through in a matter of about 3 hours but after this shot I would book it north to shoot NS 8104 coming into JAX. Had I left Orlando on time this morning I would have been able to light up 218 on this bridge just before sunrise but dragging my ass in the hotel and thinking 226 was the train lined up through the dead area on ATCS instead of 218 lead me to take my time and miss 218 here... my bad.
Hi all!
Hope the weekends are going well for you!
Had a good day yesterday. Mum and Dad came up and picked me up. They were up as Dad was dropping off some things to a customer who lived nearby so thought a day could be made of it! After popping by his customer we went to Saddleworth which is about 15 miles outside the centre and what a difference, lovely countryside, hills, snow, little villages! We had an awesome pub lunch! Lamb shank! Mmm and then went on a little walk up to the hills. It was pretty nippy but nice! Made a good change of scenery!
We got back in the evening via the supermarket :) and had some tea.
Didn't do much in the evening, chilled and chatted! Made a list of work to do today. Eugh.
Snapped a few shots up on the hills and made a montage but decided it would be stronger just to upload this one as I quite liked its bold(?) composition.
Not much going on today. Work and Top Gear maybe! With a break for a delicious roast!
HSS and Enjoy your day!

Aston Martin - There is something about these older models, love the spokes on the wheels & what beautiful sleek lines - great car.
The kids and I went on a walk past my father-in-law's farm yesterday. It was covered in hundreds of dragonflies - some being the biggest I've ever seen. Unfortunately they wouldn't stay still long enough for me to get a photo of them. :)
Sorry I haven't been the best of Flickr contacts... I'll be catching up slowly. :)
