Schon mehrmals am Freitag verkehrte ein leerer Sandzug von Stuttgart nach Linz, meist mit 111 226 und einer MRCE 182. Am 23.04. kamen zum ersten Mal zwei 111 zum Einsatz. 111 226 und 216 waren hier bei Edlhausen auf dem Weg nach Passau, wo eine MRCE 182 den Zug weiter nach Linz beförderte.

KUSTOM9 EVENT - July 15th - August 10th, 2023.
A superb lp mini break with Quornflake, Mart and Phill in Llanberis. The slate quarry there is insanely massive with far too much to shoot in one evening. The day was spent reccying all the nooks and crannies which in itself was a mammoth task. When night fell we headed to our first spot and got cracking.
It was was great to get out with you all chaps and quality to finally meet Mart.
I think we will return here as this really doesn't do the location any justice and there is so much left to shoot including the most insane but hard to access spot I've ever seen. Here's to next time.

226 sees it's reflection as it crosses the Bob Pickering bridge at St. Augustine on a cool April morning along the FEC mainline.
Am 26.02.2022 fuhr ich mit meiner Partnerin nach Dülken, denn an der Strecke von Oberhausen nach Emmerich fanden Bauarbeiten statt. Ein Großteil des Verkehrs von und in die Niederlande musste sich daher durch das eingleisige Nadelöhr zwischen Dülken und Kaldenkirchen bewegen. Bei unserer Ankunft war zunächst an gar kein Foto zu denken, denn der Himmel war fast komplett bedeckt. Drei schicke Güterzüge Richtung Venlo gingen mir daher durch die Lappen. Aber nach ca. 40 Minuten lockerte der Himmel auf und später war nicht eine Wolke mehr am Himmel zu sehen. Ein Foto von der 193 338 mit der "#DB Cargo fährt" Beklebung hatt ich euch bereits vor zwei Wochen gezeigt. Einige Zeit vorher wurde in Anrath eine AlphaTrains 186 mit einem Fiat Autozug gesichtet. Diesen Zug hätte ich auch gerne aufgenommen, war mein Gedanke. Denn ich hatte damit gerechnet, dass der Zug über die Grenzlandstrecke Richtung Aachen und dann weiter nach Belgien rollt. Doch zu meiner Überraschung hatte der Zug in Viersen Gbf geköpft und tauchte nur 10 Minuten nach dem DB 193 in Dülken auf. Und so konnte ich zu meiner Freude die AlphaTrains E186 226 mit dem Mosolf-Autozug und vielen neuen Fiat 500 in Fahrtrichtung Venlo aufnehmen. Das Bild möchte ich euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten und hier mit euch teilen.

Vždy jsem si chtěl na moji domovské trati vyfotit lokomotivy řad 749, 753, ČD 742 a 714..
Jako náhrada za motorový vůz 842 se dnes na osobních vlacích z Valašského Meziříčí do Ostravy 3127
/3104/3171/3139 a jednoho páru Sp do Štramberka 1644/1647 ukázala lokomotiva 714.226..
Na snímku zachycen spěšný vlak 1647 u zastávky Skotnice..
Doplnil jsem si tak seznam všech řad které jsem zde chtěl vyfotit, uvidím co mě překvapí příště :)
