Day 1110 22/9/14 First Bus Ipswich Retro Eastern Counties Livery from Late 80 on a modern bus Princess street, Ipswich.
Necklaces made from Ininti beads (bat’s wing coral tree, grey corkwood) and/or gum (eucalypt) nuts, hand-painted or branded with hot instrument. Holes are made in them by using a hot wire, which is sometimes used to decorate the gum nuts. The Ininti beads are not decorated. Originally, beads and nuts would be threaded, by women, onto thread made of human hair but today this has mostly been replaced by wool, as in these items here. From Australia’s Northern Territory.

I went straight to work from school today and when I get home all these people who claim to be related to me were at my house and taking up all the rooms and the bike cemetery downstairs was the only place I could get this done.
