Portoviejo (Manabí) 21 de julio del 2016.- En Portoviejo, el GAD Provincial de Manabí recibió oficialmente el equipo caminero adquirido con un crédito del Banco de Desarrollo del Ecuador B.P. por USD 9’415.000. Además, dentro del evento de entrega de las maquinarias, se firmó un crédito por USD 21’592.660 para la Rehabilitación, Ampliación y Mejoramiento de 5 vías en la provincia. Ambos proyectos beneficiarán aproximadamente a 900 mil habitantes, generando más de 525 plazas temporales de trabajo.
Jorge Glas, Vicepresidente de la República; Verónica Gallardo, Gerente General del BDE; Carlos Bernal, Secretario Técnico del Comité de Reconstrucción; Mariano Zambrano, Prefecto de Manabí; Xavier Santos, Gobernador de Manabí; Carlos Vázquez, Vicealcalde de Portoviejo; Clara Zambrano, Viceprefecta de Manabí, Katuska Drouet, Gerente del BDE Sucursal Portoviejo, alcaldes de diferentes cantones; y presidentes de GAD parroquiales estuvieron presentes en el acto. Lorenzo Voltolini, arzobispo de Portoviejo, fue el encargado de bendecir las maquinarias.
Con el financiamiento del BDE, el GAD pudo adquirir 43 vehículos, entre los que constan motoniveladoras, retroexcavadoras, tractores, rodillos, tanqueros de agua, camiones vulcanizadores y abastecedores de combustible, y carros lubricadores. Todo este equipo caminero servirá para mejorar y ampliar el sistema vial provincial, agilizando las comunicaciones y el comercio entre los diferentes centros poblados y los mercados de Manabí y del resto del país, ya que los trabajos que se llevarán a cabo con esta maquinaria son: asfaltado de 371, 40 km de vías, lastrado de 200 km de vías, mantenimiento de vías con una longitud de 1.058, 20 km y 466, 69 km de apertura de caminos.

Major road from south Manchester to Manchester city centre, the appliance was an ex Stockport appliance. (With thanks to John Redmond).
The bus was 7940: registration number BNC940T. From memory the appliance came through the lights and hit the bus. The most astonishing thing was the bus actually straddled a pedestrian subway. The implications of what might have happened there don't bear thinking about. (Norman Price).
The bus is a route 102 going to Woodhouse Park via Moss Side, Wythenshaw Park and Firbank Road.
Am 14. Februar 2022 schlossen sich insgesamt bis zu 850 Personen einem verschwörungsideologischen Aufmarsch in der Innenstadt von Dresden an. Ein Anstieg der Teilnehmer*innenzahl kann somit nicht verzeichnet werden. Ein Tag nach dem Neonazi-Aufmarsch in der Landeshauptstadt ließen sich zudem Überschneidungen zwischen beiden Demonstrationen beobachten, nicht zuletzt an den Trauerschleifen des extrem Rechten Aufmarsches am 13.02.
Ein kleiner Gegenprotest stellte sich insgesamt sechs Mal dem Aufmarsch entgegen und nahm somit Einfluss auf die Route der Demonstration.
