I don't know what this was, but it's probably the first time I've ever seen a multiple of 37 (or 37 itself for that matter) "in the wild" written as an arithmetic expression.

Gestern Saunatemperaturen, heute frischer Wind und Abkühlung, das Wetter spielt April....

Pelicans! Gotta love these goofy birds! It is full on migration time right now along the Atlantic Skyway! There are birds by the thousands and some by the hundred thousands making their way down the coast to winter over in warmer places and in warmer waters. The sky is thick with shore birds out over the open water...the most plentiful would be Cormorants. I refer to them as The Long Black Train! During migration a few years ago I was on the beach one afternoon watching a single file line of them flying by for close to 5 minutes!!! They just kept coming! I imagine rushing to make it to the resting grounds at Oregon Inlet or Pea Island, south of me by nightfall.

This string of pelicans managed to stay in a pretty good line for the better part of the time I watched them approach, but all it takes is one that is not fully attentive and it botches up the rest of the line! Best not to have the ADHD birds in the middle!! (Or the lead I guess!!!). I have witnessed them flying in a giant circle over my house...round and round, in a confused state....following the lead bird that decided to turn, and keep turning!! FINALLY one of the others realized that the lead bird was trying to let someone else be the leader and was trying to get into a position where he or she could rest!! I pictured them arguing with who was going to be the leader once they realized what was happening!! No one seemed to want to volunteer!

After watching these compared to say, a crow or a Magpie, I can fully understand the term bird brain!! The do not seem to be the sharpest tool in the aviary shed! That being said, I do love them and their funny ways!

День тихих шагов и незаметных взглядов

i found some old photos

Not sure what possessed me to attempt this one, there's nothing straight in the entire scene! Not perfect but then there's a picture in there somewhere and maybe that boat on the left just needs to be a little closer to the one on the right to improve the overall balance. Another day, I'm sure :)

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is my triple challenge day ! I love it but this week I was very bad at planning my week so I had to take my picture in a hurry !!

First of all, we have an orange day at Color my World Daily. Mr. Teddy Bear is with us to celebrate Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays . And the theme at Crazy Tuesday is the number 21. Isn’t that awesome ? In my opinion 21 is an awesome number. Isn’t it cool to be 21 years old ? I remember my 21 year on this earth very well and I would go back without any hesitation ! I was a part of the gothic trend and I remember wearing black latex pants every Friday night while dancing like crazy at our local gothic / punk club… What an awesome time it was… For Mr. Teddy bear 21 is also an awesome number. He just realized that it took him exactly 21 days to read this book… and today marks 21 days since he and Princess are in love. 21 is a lucky number according to Mr. Teddy Bear. Maybe we should buy a lottery ticket and bet on 21… Who knows ? 21 Millions is a very cool number ;-) !

I wish you all an amazing day !! See you later my friends !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
