The kids and I did a walk around several blocks that morning, visiting four or five Little Free Libraries, returning a few of their previously borrowed books and finding a new (to them) book for each. I was on the lookout for pictures and ended up shooting gladiolus in a couple different spots. I'm not sure I've taken pictures of these much before. I'm probably too busy with other things while they're in bloom most years.

I got another shout out today! It was in an email about otherwise negative things but my boss forwarded the part about me to me this morning. From the chief of the department, “Alex has been a fantastic addition to our front desk team in pediatrics! She is proactive, asks for help and is always eager to help our families.” 😁
It was POURING this morning and I was dreading my walk so I texted my boss to see if I could get my parking validated just ONCE and she said especially on rainy days they’re strict. But then she offered to come pick me up from the garage which was SUPER sweet. It didn’t end up working out but it was beyond nice of her to offer. Any of my other bosses would have NEVER. Could not have been bothered.
Still feeling weird and honestly it’s been extremely difficult to get myself so take a picture every day. Idk. This funk feels more intense than the others. Not really sure what to do or how to get out of it.
