GECKO SWIMMERS IN ACTION SEPTEMBER 2018

Our mug cupboard, full to bursting and full of memories too. Every mug tells a story; places we've been; people we've met; our favourite shows/movies, and milestones in life. I even still have a mug which was given to me as an 18th birthday pressie (....that's a 26 year old mug!). Some are a little 'dishwasher' faded, but still do the job and our 'funnies' make me chuckle every time I take them out of the cupboard. Best of all is the comfort they provide when full of steaming hot tea, coffee or chocolate. Here's to the humble mug - cheers!

Jan and her dog pose for a quick photo opportunity outside of the fittingly renamed Jan's Bar, formally Woody Anne's on Winnebago on the near East side of Madison. The establishment was renamed in her honor by the owners of the dive bar offering a warm welcoming atmosphere and shuffleboard if that should fit your fancy. Although, take note they are cash only so bring enough for your drink and a reasonable tip too!

I asked if she would be willing for me to photographer for my (608)strangers project and she agreed easily (some sort of local legend I take it). The 100 strangers is my go to group for awesome portraits of strangers across the globe so check it out!

Ok were to start!

I must say that summer has got the best of me and i have been working my ass off serving tables!

I am in the midst of creating a knew website ! It is taking forever because i am going through archives of images and scanning alot of film into my computer! It is quite tough to find any time to even take a self Portrait these days! But i will defiantly finish this project no matter what.
