An excellent shot of Reading steam engine 2102 back in the 80s. I was present for this event, as a tot. The engine is exiting the Reading Shops, the place of its birth sixty years ago
JFR2W was a Leyland Olympian ONLXB/1R / ECW H45/32F new as Ribble 2102 in June 1981. It was later transferred to Cumberland and converted to open-top layout for services in the Lake District. This bus later passed to Naughton's of Spiddle, Galway where it was registered 81-G-764.
