Once my neighbor saw the photo of my dog, she really wanted me to try to get one of hers as well. So, after a couple of weeks, we finally got hers done.
The puppy is a Chihuahua / Pug mix, they call it a Chug (which I think is hysterical) and she is only about 4-5 lbs full grown.
For this shot, I really wanted to put her on a black background, but didn't want her feet or lower half to blend in with the table she was standing on. So, instead of using a seamless or having her stand on a blanket, I put her on a black/brown laminate coffee table. This helped bring a little bit of shine or reflection to the table and helped her stand out a little more against it.
I used a 3 light set up to try to get some distinction between her and the background so that she wouldn't just blend in.

Angeblich ist am 22. Dezember Winteranfang. Dieses Bäumchen ist aber offenbar der Meinung, es wäre bereits Frühlingsanfang.
Allegedly, Dec 22 is winter solstice. But this tree is apparently thinking it's spring.
Random HDR shot I got at the mall... This is from the first floor looking up in between couple of escalators. Kind of a lazy shot, and I noticed some lights were missing haha.
