Our weather was incredible this week! 80's and 90's every day! So, naturally, we went outside and played. A lot. We went to the lake and Addie romped in the water, because she won't swim. We also played in the hose.

I wasn't too pleased with any of my shots for this week, even though I took a ton. I captured a lot of good portraits but they're frankly boring me. So I went with something a little more exciting.

I had an idea for today's 365 and had been a little busy most of today and then we had some visitors so got a little behind with my photos. I then came into our kitchen to find Lewis helping his Nana prepare tonight's dinner. The opportunity was too much to ignore and I sneaked up with my camera, on tripod, did a quick focus via 'live view' and hit my remote a good few times - this one caught Lewis in perfect concentration preparing a little Brussels Sprout for the ratatouille that he and nana were making!

Hundreds of people joined demonstrations in Wales and central London following the surprise Conservative election victory. About 200 people were involved in clashes with police outside Downing Street, throwing green smoke bombs and tomato ketchup at officers in riot gear.

Singer Charlotte Church joined a more sedate march in Cardiff where she accused the Conservatives of “dismantling” the NHS.

The rally in Cardiff was a more peaceful affair, which began with a march through the city centre.
