Along the backside of this famous ridge, from L to R, Pollock Mtn and Bishops Cap, leading up to Mt Gould just off to the right of this image. On the horizon, starting from the far left, nicely lit Mt Vaught, diminutive Mcpartland Mtn pokes out, Heavens Peak, then futher along, Longfellow Peak, and finally the nub of Ananaconda Peak on the far right. On the left-side slope of Longfellow one can identify the small nub referred to as Paul Bunyan's Cabin. Longfellow is one my favourite peaks as it's visible from the Waterton townsite in Alberta.

okay, so i have an explanation as to why this sucks. basically, on thursday i was going to the mall with my cousin. we ended up stopping somewhere and i didn't have pockets, so i put my (new) iPhone on the roof of the car while we waited. yeah...not a good idea since i ended up completely forgetting that i put my iPhone on the roof of the car. it wasn't until we were in the middle of a really busy multi-lane street that i realized i had forgotten it. it took us a few minutes to get back around to the street, and by that time it had been run over by god knows how many cars. it was completely ruined. i cried for a good 20 minutes. i went to the apple store later that day and told them i dropped it (not a total lie; i did drop it) and they gave me a new one for free. i love them so much. anyway, by the time all that drama was over it was already 10 and it was such a long day i didn't have it in me to take a picture, so i watched jersey shore and degrassi instead. but the next day i still didn't really feel like taking a picture. i seriously almost quit my 365 all together, but thanks to some encouragement from my friends, i've decided not to. unfortunately, there was a three day period where i didn't really put any effort into my 365 at all because i wasn't sure if i was even going to continue doing it, and this is one of those three days.
that's my new iPhone in a ridiculous case my dad's making me use, by the way. i swear that case makes it 20 pounds heavier.

Golden hour levitation
This is my backup shot from a shoot with Emma (6) I did,
while shooting my other idea I had the feeling it wasn't going to work out the way I wanted it to...
So that idea will be re-done soon!
For now I leave you on the last day of the week with this gorgeous golden light!
