My cousin Mike slept over tonight and practically pulled an all-nighter playing warcraft with my brother.

my dad owns an ebay store.
he was auctioning this camera for a widow.
it didn't sell.
she didn't want to go through the pain of picking it up,
told dad to donate it.
he gave it to me.
i felt odd, holding something that belongs to someone dead.
felt like i was taking something that didn't belong to me,
like stealing.
looking through the box, i found his name.
John Peter Carson.
his name was John & i started to talk to him.
i thanked him for the camera. told him i'd treat it well.
that i'd take lovely photos with it, and i'd even dedicate some to him if that's okay.
i felt better after that.
his name is John, and this is his camera.
i'm sitting here quoting a girl who is dead,
with a camera from John who is dead.
and nothing of me is original anymore.
i have taken & tonight i feel strange.
