Jesse Stoddard, of Snohomish Boot Camps in Snohomish County, WA hosts a Boot Camps with a Purpose every month. Their charity camps are always free, with a suggested donation of $15 going straight to charity. They try to pick local charities and causes, or ones that are at least heavily supported by local citizens of our boot camp communities. They appreciate your support, and they encourage you to spread the word. This is a great time to introduce people to our exercise programs at next-to-zero cost.
In the past and present they have raised money for Friends and Families of Violent Crime Victims, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County, The Natalie Kay Lang School Project and many more.

:: Matéria histórica sobre João Donato
Essa matéria foi bem legal de fazer, de novo, estavamos na edição de drogas e queriamos dar "o grau da loucura" em todas as matérias. Tinhamos um belo acervo de imagens, uns puta cromão, papel e coisas raras e comecei a desenhar a matéria, sem muita ideia da pegada, de como seria a coisa.
A primeira sensação era de que, por todas as fotos serem pb, a matéria pedia uma interferencia de cor, pra transparecer a loucura do som do cara. Pro abre da matéria, comecei a fazer umas brincadeiras, uns testes, até chegar nesse conceito de imagem espelhada, caledoscópio, recurso muuuuito usado nos videoclipes e imagens da época. Pronto. Flipei essa foto, o piano se duplicou, todo mundo pirou.
A partir dessa imagem, pensamos em como interferiamos e deixariamos tudo muito mais pirado... veio aquela linguagem liquid oil show, aqueles oleos coloridos, que eram projetados, psicodelia total. Pronto, era intereferir, jogar esse óleo em cima da matéria e correr pro abraço. Precisavamos de alguem talentoso, criativo e que visse toda essa loucura que queriamos na matéria. Chamamos Everson Nazari, o Indio Sam que, depois das tradicionais indas e vindas do layout, mandou bemzaço.
Sabe que final das contas, achei que a revista ficou "over louca", exageramos um pouco nessa loucura, em toooodas as matérias.. e dai talvez a edição tenha ficado muito carregada... hmmm talvez.

exhausted but it was a great weekend. the cabin we stayed in was so great. they just built them this year. the kids played, fished and got dirty. I loved the wildlife park. they all have a story as to why they are here and are unable to be released into the wild. we also have a behind the scenes cat tour which was great. the Jaguars are amazing! the bears I of course loved, Ethan got to pet a beaver. the serval cats were super cute and I loved the noises the macaques made. the weekend was relaxing and a great time with my little dude. I still cant believe in leaving Peru in just a few days. so crazy.
