All manipulations of Virginia's photo were done in PS beta 2023. Last, I applied Topaz Studio look Expressionism at 68% on top.

De kleurrijke loc 101 005 - met reclame voor de verzekeraar DEVK - reed op 18 juni 2023 met intercity 2011 van Berlijn naar Tübingen. Op de foto verlaat de trein het "Schweineohr" te Genshagener Heide om via Magdeburg en Braunschweig richting zuidwesten te rijden.
The rather colourful engine 101 005 was headed for Tübingen Hbf on June 18th 2023 with intercity train 2011 from Berlin Hbf. In the picture the train is exiting the "Pig's ear" near Genshagener Heide. The name pig's ear stems from the aireal view of the railway layout - looking somewhat like the ear of a pig...

The Chapman Bench along the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River lies in front of the Beartooth Plateau in Northern Wyoming. This photo was taken on a beautiful winter afternoon on Jan. 2, 2023. The week before Christmas the Bench was covered with snow but warm temperatures and blustery winds the week after Christmas have removed most of the snow. More snow is surely on the way.

This is one of many photos I’ve taken from the passenger seat as we spend at least 6 hours in the car on a weekly basis to drive twice each week to my neurofeedback appointments. This practice of seeing, appreciating and capturing my surroundings from the moving car can sometimes be very helpful for me. This image was captured on 1/3/2023.

Krujë. In the background the fortress. Kruje has Ottoman style influences seen in the alley with the old bazaar. Krujas old bazaar is well preserved, and is a very photogenic place, attracting quite some tourists. Nowadays it houses mainly souvenir shops with traditional Albanian costumes, musical instruments, old books and memorabilia from the Communist days.

A very proud moment for me to walk my son into his Wedding. We have both transitioned full time to our preferred gender. Me to female and my son from female to male.
The smile says it all !! A very happy Mum with her very happy son. So so proud of him, and his partner Lex who has also transitioned from female to male too. Happy Days !!! P xxx

We are so fortunate to have a pair of Sandhill Crane's raising two colts in the neighborhood and we see them in the yard daily. It is such a thrill to be able to watch the antics of the young ones. And they're growing so fast. Here one leads the way with one of the parents in tow.

This started out life as an in-camera multiple exposure of three ICMs all of the same bland subject: a Cotswold stone wall. The ICMs used three different swipe directions: vertical and both diagonals. The blend mode in the camera was Darken which produces the weaving line effect.
And then (being Sliders Sunday) I took the original colours in the image and zapped them. Al little help from Nik Color Efex followed to introduce a bit of an overall colour gradient and bring out the colours. There was a slight blur vignetted too…
I’ll post a link to an image showing the in-camera original and the three ICMs that preceded it and were blended by the camera. They are all rather dark and gloomy with very unsaturated colour… but that’s only a challenge!

During summer vacation in 1988, we enjoyed canoeing from Kasagi, Kyoto to Nakanoshima, Osaka (75km). It was a wonderful two-night, three-day river trip with a few friends and family. The green canoe is my first canoe. On that trip, our family of four boarded this canoe. I assembled this canoe in February 2023 for the first time in 20 years.
It used to take about 20 minutes to assemble one canoe, but this time it took an hour. The light canoe felt very heavy.

The big mosque is the Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque, also called here the Blue mosque. It was built from 2002-2008. Adjacent to the mosque is the St. George Maronite Cathedral with the new bell tower.

Born on November 22, 1908 (São Fidelis, RJ).
He died on October 3, 1985 (Capão Bonito, São Paulo).
It's a sad story from my country to this day, people without property in the fifth largest country on the planet. Some agrarian reform movements began to encourage the invasion of unproductive land (big farms), in which case my grandfather's farm was extremely productive and employed people.
We didn't give up the farm because of my grandfather's murder. On that day of his death, he was entering the farm through the main gate, when someone called him, he turned around and was shot in the head by a madman. He was 76 years old.
The Landless Movement (MST) changed tactics with the new laws and it was not the MST's fault. It was a man, the killer, unbalanced, without hope, without treatment and education who shot. He was imprisoned for a few years.
A Government Ministry was created to deal with this matter of people without property. It's 2023 and they're still dealing with this issue. Even the original peoples are fighting over property.
The world should not buy products from these regions.

It's wonderful to have so many grasshoppers in the garden. Most of them seem to be Field Grasshoppers like this one!
The Field Grasshopper (Chorthippus brunneus) is one of the commoner grasshoppers, found throughout most of Britain. It favours short, sunny grassland, and so it is not uncommon on garden lawns and rockeries. It is a brownish grasshopper, but the colour varies. Striped and mottled forms occur with parts of the body varying from buff through orange to purple. It has sharply incurved pronotal side-keels. The dark wedges on the pronotum don't reach the base. The underside of body is distinctively hairy in both sexes. The species is winged, flies well and has been known to swarm.
It enjoys a long season with nymphs hatching from late March. Adults appear from June and may survive until early December. They feed on plants and grasses. Males can be seen displaying to females by rubbing their legs against their wings to create a 'song' - a brief, single chirrup, repeated at short intervals. After mating, eggs are laid in the soil ready to hatch the following summer.

Wenige Augenblicke bevor die Sonne hinter den Bergen verschwand, konnte am 02.02.2023 der Al Atlas 204 Oujda - Casablanca Voyageurs fotografierte werden. ONCF DH416 beschleunigt den Zug aus der Senke des Stausees "Barrage Idriss 1er" heraus in die Steigung bei Touabâa zur Überwindung eines Höhenzugs hinein.
Only a few moments bevor sundown ONCF DH416 could be seen with Alt Atlas train 204 Oujda - Casablanca Voyageurs at Februar, 02, 2023 near Touabâa. The train climbs up from reservoir "Barrage Idriss 1er".
My Wife and I walk around this pond every other evening. On this one night, I brought my camera with me. The trail gives a perspective of this pond and the surrounding walk-way. The total distance around the pond is 3/4 of a mile. We walk it 4 times for a total of 3 miles. Other people are usually walking with others, or walking their dogs or simply sitting on benches watching others and the sunset. Wild Life roams this pond. It is a great community pond built by the subdivision developers to support recreational activities. It has also an open sport bench bars and other things.
