First attempt at color with the Shen Hao filmback.
I reached Lake Lungern on its north side after an hour's drive. I looked for a nice place for the first shot. The lake lay dark before me. I was hoping for a sunrise with colored lights on the mountains. A thin band of fog was forming on the southern mountain walls. Now the tension increased. Would the fog still be there when the sun reached it?... I waited and waited and cursed myself for forgetting my gloves again... Then the sun came. The fog grew bigger and bigger and began to glow beautifully.

** The image of the Humber Bridge is not inappropriate I traveled across it yesterday to spend New Years Eve with some friends on the South Bank of the River. This morning I drove back to Hull over the bridge . We don’t use it that often but I do enjoy crossing over it. Its a splendid bridge with fantastic views over the River Humber

Die Rißfälle bei Hammerbrücke sind die größten Wasserfälle im Vogtland. Die Rißfälle waren für die damalige Flößerei sehr wichtig und sind als solche künstlich angelegt worden.

Les commanditaires souhaitant récupérer la statue avant l'exposition, une réplique exacte est fabriquée et exposée à Paris, puis rachetée en 1897 par Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure, ), et installée au sommet de son église, point culminant de la Vendée.

At the end of the 19th century, a statue of the Archangel Michael was sculpted by Paul-Émile Millefaut (1848-1907) before joining the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière in Lyon where it was to overlook the apse, after being presented at the 1889 World Exposition. Sponsors wishing to recover the statue before the exhibition, an exact replica is manufactured and exhibited in Paris, then bought in 1897 by Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure), and installed at the top of his church, the highest point of the Vendée.
