Parked outside the Bvlgari hotel in London was this amazing Brabus S-class, based on the S 63 AMG. The car was from Abu Dhabi, the capital emirate of the United Arab Emirates. The plates assigned to this vehicle were brand new, with this style of plate only being issued in 2016. I quite like the look of these plates.

As kids, most might remember putting their tongues across the poles of a 9 volt battery. Thus learning the basic principles of 'Direct Current'.
Well, this is not Direct Current, it's Alternating Current. Which can easily disrupt the rhythm of your heart.
Moral of the story: 'Don't Do It'.
An antique phone. Part of a private collection. The owner was in a little rush, so I didn't get to spend too much time photographing any one item. Like I would have wanted. I don't work well under pressure. LOL

Since my older sister and I are locked into confinement together, she joins me for today's photo complete with matching Domo hat.
The yellow vehicles are BMC Falcons (68507 & 68559). The other vehicle (20202) is a Plaxton bodied Volvo.
c/n 20202/774. About to land on runway 28L at London-Heathrow. New in 1969. Withdrawn from use at Paris-Orly in 1991. Used as a ground trainer at Annecy, France from 1993 to 2003 then scrapped.

Healey Mills
A very mixed evening freight arrives at Healey Mills from the east behind two of York's Class 20s - D8302 leading D8308 (later 20202 and 20208).

A Volvo Olympian carrying a registration plate familiar to local enthusiasts, as at one time it adorned a Setra coach that was part of the GMT's Charterplan coaching unit based only a few miles down the road at the erstwhile North Western Road Car's Charles Street depot in Stockport.
The plate then was used by Hulme Hall Coaches, the former occupier of the yard where this shot was taken, on its buses and coaches prior to that businesses take-over by Elite. The bus still carries Hulme Hall livery.
