Der Fichtelberg ist mit 1214 Metern Höhe der höchste Berg Sachsens und der zweithöchste im Erzgebirge.
Auf den Fichtelberg kann man von Oberwiesenthal aus bequem mit der Seilschwebebahn fahren, hier erreicht gerade eine Gondel der Schwebebahn in Kürze die Bergstation. - 24.09.2020
Normalerweise gibt es auch noch einer Vierer-Sesselbahn auf den Fichtelberg, diese war aber leider nicht in Betrieb
