This the first butterfly that has ever stayed still enough for me to get a good image of.

One from the archives.....haven't been to the Ravines in a couple weeks better get down there this weekend.
Colorado River and Canyonlands National Park Overlook. This is an overlooked park but well worth the short drive for this view at sunrise. And yes you can drive that road down there, I did it back in 2013 and it is the scariest road I've ever been on. One more from last Saturday's Birds of Prey Photo Shoot at Blandford Nature Center. This is one of my favorite birds but rarely see in the wild.

We were excited to see a lot of eagle activity at the park today. Not sure if this has anything to do with a hard or soft winter but this is the earliest I have seen these eagle work on their nest.
Me and my son when to the Black 5 45212 and 33207 on 1Z69 Swanage to West Brompton though Pokesdown station. The light was very low due to it being sun set time, I set the camera to Manual mode with the set up on ISO 2000, Aperture F2.8 and shutter speed to 1/250. But was not easy to shoot hand held in very low light.
Image taken 16th October from the backlash of Storm Ophelia by Porthcawl Lighthouse. As you can see, the lighthouse has disappeared!

Taken this past weekend while camping in Luther. There was not much color in the woods so you had to create your own scene. Here was a group of birch trees by where we had our tents.
