The second to the last weekend for the Florida Renaissance Festival. The theme this weekend is Kilts and Colleens.
I recently had my dog Luna "chipped" so that if she becomes lost and is found, the chip placed under her skin can be read and reunited. The company now sends me regular e-mails about chipped pets lost in my neighborhood. This last week, Home Again: sent me a Lost Pet Alert email about this dog: Bruno. Driving home this morning, I saw a dog lying in the street that seemed to look exactly like this missing dog. Concerned, I tried to catch the dog....it ran away. Gary got in his car and tried to see if the dog would get into the car....he didn't. In the end, a third person stopped and got out of their car and helped us ultimately corner and catch this dog.
Once I put him on the floor, he wouldn't move out from under my computer desk and became very mean and protective. He wouldn't let anyone near him for the first two days without growling and becoming aggressive.

Our new dog Bruno spent the night under my computer desk and wouldn't come out for any reason; although I did catch him coming out for a short time when I watched on the surveillance camera from work. Once I arrived home, I had to recapture him and we took him to our vet to check him for a chip which he did not have. I brought him brought him back home and after a bath Bruno has become an entirely different dog.

At one point, he bit me surprisingly hard for such a little dog.

“Best Men in Kilts” contest. Not a revealing or as fun as yesterday's contest, but we were in a better position today to get some photos of the the men in kilts.
