Turned out to be a concert better than I thought it might be.
Barry Manilow announced that he is going to "hit the road" ONE LAST TIME! In Sunrise, Florida during his last tour -- featuring a backing band of 13 musicians and singers, plus all the show-stopping hits. Manilow's storied career includes over 50 Top 40 hits, Grammy, Tony and Emmy Awards, a seven-year run on the Vegas Strip and an induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. From "Mandy," "I Write the Songs" and "Can't Smile Without You" to the classic "Copacabana (At the Copa)" and beyond, Manilow will belt out his legendary hits during an unforgettable night at the BB&T Center.
We were on the fence about seeing this concert, but bought tickets through Goldstar and were happy we did.
Goldstar, Unlike so many ticket sellers online, are not brokers. They work directly with 4,000 venue partners to connect them with our huge and growing Goldstar audience. Not every show sells out, so instead of letting seats go empty, venues list them with us to sell to our members.

For our second experience with food truck gatherings; we went to a gathering in Plantation Heritage Park. It was cold; but still such a nice way to spend an evening.

A Valentine's Day treat: local strawberry wine and pulla (a sweet wheat bread from Finland a bit like challah) - shared with my kulta, of course. :)
