Just got back from a 1400 mile, 4 country road trip. We spent three days in Bled, Slovenia. It was a wonderful, beautiful place. On the last day we hiked to the top of this peak which was a near vertical ascent 780 meters above the lake below. Every five minutes, I thought the view couldn't get better, but it did. Even when we got to the top, a hiker heading down said there was an even better view a few minutes more across the ridge. I was hesitant but her was right and this photo was what we saw from there.

Location : Approx 30km upstream from proper Calcutta ( Kolkata ) in the state of West Bengal in India.
E' diventanta oramai una sorta di appuntamento la mia tradizionale visita alla Giselabahn per riuscire a riprendere gli ultimi convogli riservati per sciatori rimasti in Europa in viaggio fra il Nord Europa e le Alpi austriache.
Quest'anno Lokomotion ha rilevato la trazione di entrambi i convogli che da Worgl risalgono verso il Griessenpass verso il Salisburghese. Nella foto l'intonatissima E189.904 di RTC si incarica della trazione del D13189 Hamburg-Schwarzach in una gelida alba nei pressi di Fieberbrunn, nell'estremo lembo orientale del Tirolo. (30/1/16)
It's become a sort of traditional appointment the visit along the Giselabahn during the winter months to catch the ski-trains that run in the early morning from the Northern Europe cross the Austrian Alps. Here the D13189 from Hamburg is reaching Fieberbrunn on its way to Schwarzach pulled by the RTC/Lokomotion Br189.904 (30/1/16)
