Continuing my look back over the last year and posting some of the shots that didn't make it first time around.
This Cuckoo was a close contender for my bird of the year – a particularly showy individual which was one of several difficult species that showed well for the camera this year although perhaps the most satisfying was a Green Woodpecker in our Garden - I can never get close to those usually.

Vancouver did have at least one peak at the sun in November, early morning sliver of light caught some of the high rise buildings in the CBD.
And that is it for now. Gone to China, return late December.
