今日の天気予報は晴れ。念願叶って海岸に撮影に行きました。ところが海岸は雲が湧いてきました。諦めて、帰路に着いた途端、肉眼でもはっきりと見える天の川が見えました。
数分の間でしょうか。
再度海岸に降りましたが、すでに空は雲に覆われていました。
The weather forecast is sunny today. I went to the shooting in the coast wish come true. But the coast has sprung clouds. Give up, as soon as I arrived at the return, the Milky Way visible also clearly with the naked eye I saw.
What for a few minutes.
I got off to the coast again, but it was already sky is covered in clouds.
Another from the archives I thought I would throw out there as quite representative of the tumultuous year 2016 has been; Brexit, Trump, Syria, Turkey, celebs / singers passing etc etc.
The shot itself was taken from a Jetty on Noosa North Shore (Australia) on a hot summers night. Incredible to watch the storm first pass overhead then to rain bolts of lightning down on the mainland. I am pleased (read: smug) to say I remained nice and dry while kicking back with a beer in one hand and shutter release cable in the other! The image is a blend of 16 shots from at least 100 that were fired off in order to time the capture of each lightning strike.
