Faro que se ubica en la localidad francesa de Biarritz, en el cabo de Saint - Martin, formación rocosa que es una verdadera frontera entre la costa de arena al norte, que se prolonga durante varios cientos de kilómetros a la punta de la Gironda, y los acantilados del País Vasco, al sur.
El faro fue construido entre 1830 y 1834 por el arquitecto M. Viennois, y consta de una torre cónica blanca, así como de la antigua casa de los guardas.
El faro fue totalmente automatizado en 1980 .

En la localidad de Almagro, en la provincia de Ciudad Real, se encuentra una de las mas famosas Plaza Mayor de España, con su Ayuntamiento, la Iglesia de San Agustin, el famoso Corral de las Comedias, y por supuesto sus típicas casas.
La plaza es de origen medieval aunque sufrió una notable transformación a lo largo del Siglo XVI, coincidiendo con la llegada a Almagro de los Fúcar, banqueros súbditos del emperador Carlos V, a quienes se les había arrendado las minas de azogue de Almadén como privilegio por el apoyo económico de la banca familiar durante las guerras de Europa.
Se levantaron nuevos edificios en la plaza y se debe a ellos la influencia de las galerías acristaladas, con recuerdos septentrionales, que ennoblecen y dan un aspecto singular a los dos lados mayores de esta Plaza Mayor de Almagro.
En la década de 1960 se comenzó su restauración que concluyó en 1967, tal como figura en una placa colocada en el edificio del Ayuntamiento, siendo la obra dirigida por el arquitecto Francisco Pons-Sorolla, quien devolvió al singular conjunto la nobleza y el esplendor del siglo XVI.

As I was taking shots of Plovers, this Reddish Egret flew in right beside me. S/he didn't stay long, but I got several shots before s/he left. The background is the water. There is not much of a crop. Best Fullscreen on black.

Novodevichy Monastery was founded by Grand Prince Vasili III in 1524. Is simultaneously active monastery and the State Historical Museum. ensemble of 14 buildings, including eight temples. In 2004, the monastery celebrated 480 years and its architectural ensemble was included in the list of cultural and natural heritage UNESCO.
