This is Ko Khao Phing Kan, a small island made famous by the movie: 'The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)' starring Roger Moore as 007 and was the exotic hide-out of the assassin 'Francisco Scaramanga' played by Christopher Lee. It is now commonly referred to as 'James Bond Island'.
This is the side where most boats land and just across the island is the very well known view from the movie (picture to be posted very soon). I was fearful that being a popular tourist location it would be crowded, but I was very lucky it was relatively quiet and taking shots without too many people getting in the way was quite easy :)
This is a single RAW file processed in Lightroom and looks quite nice in Light Box :)
Tinker Bell (sometimes spelled as Tinkerbell, also referred to as Tink for short), is a fictional character from J. M. Barrie's 1904 play Peter Pan and its 1911 novelization Peter and Wendy. She has appeared in multiple film and television adaptations of the Peter Pan stories, in particular the 1953 animated Walt Disney picture Peter Pan.

Happy birthday!! I'm grateful for your support always.

RENFE 241F-2238... LA BONITA!!!

This is a re-edit of a photo I took in 2012. Looking back, it was a perfect evening and I really liked the original but I wanted to see if I could make the car literally jump out of the picture, color, clarity, and contrast-wise (without touching the background). My editing skills have improved quite a bit in the last 4 years so I took a shot at it. I think it turned out pretty decent.

This is the last of the images taken through glass, not always clean or clear, but that is the nature of glass at a moment in time.
Shibuya is famous for its scramble crossing. It is located in front of the Shibuya Station Hachikō exit and stops vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection. The statue of Hachikō, a dog, between the station and the intersection, is a common meeting place and almost always crowded.
Three large TV screens mounted on nearby buildings overlook the crossing, as well as many advertising signs. The Starbucks store overlooking the crossing is also one of the busiest in the world. Its heavy traffic and inundation of advertising has led to it being compared to the Times Square intersection in New York City. Tokyo-based architecture professor Julian Worrall has said Shibuya Crossing is "a great example of what Tokyo does best when it’s not trying."
Shibuya Crossing is often featured in movies and television shows which take place in Tokyo, such as Lost in Translation and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, as well as on domestic and international news broadcasts.
On the southwest side of Shibuya station there is another popular meeting place with a statue called "Moyai". The statue resembles a Moai statue, and it was given to Shibuya by the people of Niijima Island in 1980.

I used my Telephoto Lens for the first time on my Sx-70! It is held on by a magnetic ring around the lens.
No ND Filter. I struggled a little with shielding because of the lens being held on gingerly.

If I comment on somebody's photograph it's because I've been moved to do so, and it's nice to think people will do the same for me. However, PLEASE don't use banners and distracting graphics. Whilst it's always lovely to know someone likes a particular photo, these 'awards' are ugly and, because they don't say anything constructive, will be removed.
