This work was made on November 2. It was drawn by the color pencil and pen. This work is kind of cartoon, but there is no texts in the cartoon. These four images have one thing in common. It is that only a man with glasses who wears a cap is colored in the four images. This indicates that the man is the main character of this cartoon. There is another man with glasses in the first and second images, and he seems like passing the main character. Furthermore, there are a woman and an elder man pass the main character as well. However, the woman is colored in third and last images. To explain in detail, this cartoon, the main character represents me, and this cartoon consists of my sexual orientation. Third and last images indicate that I am used to be aware of the girl when somebody passes me. I always wondered that a dramatic meeting actually exists such as a romantic movie.
Abingdon airshow 2009 Batch 2.
It was a busy and exausting weekend for me, with the Blades open day on friday (Which my daughter hasnt stopped grinning from, with her getting to sit in one of their Extra 300's!) and then from the Abington airshow. It was a really good show, with the weather eventualy clearing up and giving us with blue skies for the C-17 departure at the end of the day :)
(Somehow i took 42gig of pics while sitting at Abingdon, so i have a feeling its going to take a while to edit/post them all lol)
Nuremberg, Germany ... Day 2.
It has become a silly tradition that everywhere we go, we have to have a Big Mac (assuming there is one). It started way back when money was scarce but we loved to travel, so we couldn't eat in restaurants all the time. Then there were a couple of occasions when we were feeling "fooded out" by large meals and just wanted something cheap, cheerful and fast. And there is one other consideration ... they have toilets, and they are usually reasonably clean. That's what happened today ... and we needed a bit of a sit down after walking all morning!

3. Nothing gets me going like six bottles of wine.
Mount Auburn Cemetery in Massachusetts, was founded in 1831 as "America's first garden cemetery" or "rural cemetery". With classical monuments set in a rolling landscaped terrain,[2] it marked a distinct break with Colonial-era burying grounds and church-affiliated graveyards. The appearance of this type of landscape coincides with the rising popularity of the term "cemetery", derived from the Greek for "a sleeping place."

It was nearly 20 degrees cooler today than yesterday, making it a lovely fall day, just about perfect for hiking. We were a little late for the magical morning light [tm], but Glen Helen, John Bryan, and Clifton Gorge were still very, very pretty -- and just about the busiest we've ever seen them. (Don't let the lack of people in the shot fool you; we were passed by -- and obliged to pass -- someone every few minutes through most of the John Bryan/Clifton Gorge section.)
The middle of the three Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza, the second tallest and second largest of the group. It is the tomb of the Fourth-Dynasty pharaoh Khafre (Chefren), who ruled c. 2558−2532 BC
The pyramid has a base length of 215.5 m (706 ft) and rises up to a height of 136.4 metres (448 ft).[2] It is made of limestone blocks weighing more than 2 tons each. The slope of the pyramid rises at a 53° 13' angle, steeper than its neighbor, the pyramid of Khufu, which has an angle of 51°50'24". Khafre's pyramid sits on bedrock 10 m (33 ft) higher than Khufu's pyramid, which makes it appear to be taller.
The pyramid was first explored in modern times by Giovanni Belzoni on March 2, 1818, when the original entrance was found on the north side. Belzoni had hopes of finding an intact burial but the chamber was empty except for an open sarcophagus and its broken lid on the floor.
This young Red-shouldered hawk was very hungry. I got within 10 feet of him before he flew off. Based on the photos, I noticed two things. 1: The electric fence is off. 2: It appears his left leg is injured.
Day 2 - it snowed overnight! Over the course of the ride it snowed, rained, sleeted, and hailed like crazy. We came in first today.
Ok, so I love this picture but it bothers me for 2 reasons, 1. that is an in camera crop and 2 it is oof. But I just LOVE his smile :)

This is a strict variation on the structure used to compose Harmonic Étude No.2: it contains every possible 4-voice chord exactly twice and every possible 3-voice chord exactly four times. The chords are again indexed to always move from greater to lesser dissonance, but this time they are filtered to appear in discrete groups containing either the same note in the treble voice or the same note in the bass voice (this is what creates the ostinato drones and pedal points that become increasingly prominent as the piece advances). The groups themselves are sorted so that they smoothly appear in series from the smallest group (a single 3-voice chord with an A natural in the bass) to the largest group (the 84 consecutive chords at the very end, each containing a C natural in the bass). As in Étude No.2, all melodic elements independent of chordal constructions are anticipations and/or fragments of the individual voices in the chord progressions immediately adjacent. The composition, finally, is tonal (according to a Hindemithian scheme), governed by the root tone C natural, and divided into ten roughly equal sections according to a plan a diatonician might recognize as I-V-I-V-IV-VI-V-I-V-I.
I toyed with the idea of making this a movement in a larger work, but obstinate ideological prejudice, alas, prevents me from authoring extended works in tonal environments. I have complete faith that the serial method - fully informed and guided by the evolving contrapuntal wisdom of all previous stages in the development of the art - represents the solid future of Western Art Music. Let the current piece remain forever nothing more than a curious didactic study of the complete harmonic potential inherent in all 4-voice writing.
