Day 61/365. Because I grew up with Atari games then moved to computer games, I missed the boat on Famicom/Nintendo games. I just thought this was some kind of gear, not a mushroom from the Mario series of games.
From MAGFest 15 (2017) at the Gaylord National Convention Center January 5-8, 2017.
Short for "Music And Gaming Festival," MAGFest is a four day-long event dedicated to the appreciation of video game music, gaming of all types, and the gaming community.
The event runs 24 hours a day, and offers consoles, arcades, tabletop, LAN, live video game cover bands, chiptunes, vendors, guest speakers, and much much more.

For their 2011 line-up, Humanoid Wake commissioned us to design the 1UP - their crown jewel. Rather than take an illustrative approach we chose to focus on a few select design elements to further highlight some of this new, first-to-market, board's features. A base printed in PANTONE 871 U (metallic gold) featuring a debossed Humanoid logomark makes this board, pure gold. Look for the 1UP to drop soon.
