I couldn't resist not posting this pic today.

How can you resist sewing when your little one ask for a cosplay to use at the local comic book fair? I made her an entirely outfit set for her in speed time. So it has a lot of flaws everywhere but I think it looks cute anyway. ^^

We didn't have a proper cowboy hat so we used the Rement one.

Blouse - Tiny Betsy McCall pattern from the Doll Recipe 2 (perfect fit!)

Vest and short - Blythe pattern from the Doll Recipe 6

Hairdryer, hat and camera - Rement

Boots - Blythe

She didn't want to bring any extra clothes so she took the subway like this! O_O

The paperwork taped to the windows for new owners Anaheim Quality Distribution Center in California. Interestingly, a picture on RR Picture Archives from 12-26-2021 shows this unit with what appears to be the same paperwork in place on the windows. Maybe the check finally cleared.

Behold the happy couple. <3

(little note: I hope no one takes this the wrong way or is offended, it was meant with no harm, we just thought they looked so cute. :)

Summer Vacation 2008.

Happy late Easter for everybody! ^^

Old pic of a set I made for Tibi last year.

More old pics of Mikiko's Bunka Set. :)

I made 2 hats for Wataru, I didn't know which one I like best. ^^

Back in December, I was with Jonathan Lee and found the Grand Trunk GP9R up in CN's Schiller Park yard, just west of Chicago. Unfortunately, it wasn't running at the time, but it's not often that you get to shoot 1st Generation GTW geeps anymore, so I'll take what I can get.

The little one miss his bro, who's staying with dear Vale during summer. :)

Made last December for Freddy.

In exchange for his wonderful dollies. Thank you so much! <3

First Generation Map Butterfly (Araschnia levana).

Using cars and trucks for publicity purposes has a long tradition.

I found this image as an early example of vehicles as an advertisement object.

This futuristic Ford made promotion for Van Nelle Tobacco and Food Company, Rotterdam in the early 1950s.

This Ford is probably made on the new 1948 F-Series chassis. It has on old pré-1951 registration plate of Zuid-Holland.

For Vito!

I love how this set turned out! I've always wanted to make a matching cool set for Wataru and Licca. I found this little piece of tartan at a local patchwork store, it was a great surprise to find it doesn't stain! <3 I'll try to go today to buy some more. ;)

I tried to take a pic like those vintage promo ads, they look so cheerful. ^^

Of course no outfit would be completed without a Tibiloo Beret! ;)

Yesterday we visit Girona. A city 1.30 hours by train from Barcelona, heading the french border.

Ever since I visited this parc there (more than 5-6 years ago), I wanted to come back and take pics with the little ones. :) We had a great time, took a lot of pics, ate Hindu food at a tiny restaurant, it was a nice day.

We are short of winter clothes for the girls so I made a tiny hat and a coat for them. I wanted it to be colorful, which is something I never succeed completely, I'm very classic when it comes to color combos. Anyway, I like the result!

Lovely blue sweater made by talented Betsyjean79. Dotted skirt made by dear Caraline (we need more lovely skirts!). White scarf made by I have wings/Romina.

On the left, Kurt Königin, on the right Mr. R. Wataru.

My sister met Wataru in Buenos Aires and she liked him very much. I found a cheap NRFB Repro Wataru in Tokyo last year I was planing to put on adoption with a basic MforM wardrobe but since it was the first time my sis actually liked one of my dolls, who could resist? ^^

So now Kurt (she chose the name after Glee) is living with her in Argentina.

I made him some clothes so he wouldn't have to dress the red flamenco dancer stock outfit all the time. Here are the boys saying goodbye, wearing the clothes I made for Kurt.

Both plaid fabrics were bought in Buenos Aires while shopping with Romina/Ihavewings and will be used as upcoming sets for Wataru.

Loving my 1st Gen Licca. I was really worried about getting her, not having much experience with vintage dolls. But Mandarake came through once again and delivered an awesome little babe.

Seven wives is quite normal, right?

I had many Retro Dresses in the house, some new some very old. So I thought it was a good idea to take a group pic of all of them. :)

Oh, no!!

It's Mr. Groom's french lover: l'Amant!!! O__O

IN ENGLISH BELOW THE LINE

====================

I think this is a gorgeous 1st generation Ford Mustang, made c.1964-65. It's vintage, but as usual, the camera used is much older, 25 years older!

Photo taken with a Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 531, made in 1938 and sold in Budapest; Carl Zeiss Tessar f3.5 / 75mm; Cinestill 50D, developed with C41 process modified to "bleach bypass", with the Tetenal kit.

With the "bleach bypass" method, the color film is processed with the C41 chemicals but removing (bypass) the bleach, or in case of using "blix" (bleach + fixer), replacing it with the usual fixer in the black and white developer (Ilford Rapid Fixer in my case). This way the colors are muted and the film gains grain. That's what they did with "Saving Private Ryan" or "Band of Brothers."

In fact here I have imitated these films to the fullest possible, as the Cinestill 50D roll film is in fact the Kodak Vision 3 50D (Kodak 5203/7203), color movie film. It’s not exactly the one they used, but it’s the maximum I can get close to.

Class 121 camera unit 977859 (55025) at Ipswich on 20/01/01.

Aaaah, 1st Gen Licca's are so versatile. They can wear any style and look gorgeous. Cute, retro, punk, sweet kawaii, lolita, mod, you name it!

Yuki's wearing FruPu's horrible blouse. But in her, it just looks amazing!

Crazy weather day today. First it was raining cats and 5 minutes later, the sun shined strongly! O_O

For Virginie. (if you like it!)

It's a very simple a-line dress, it has been made by everyone before, but still wanted to try! I love the retro look in it. :)

Tibi, I know you're not much of a pink person and I've said a hundred times I'm trying to de-pinkified my life, but this fabric was screaming from the bottom of the pile to be used with this pattern.

It's kind of a tryout dress but I think it turned out pretty nice.

I've cut another two just in case you don't want this pinkish one. ;)

Class 128 DPU 55992 at Preston on an ECS working on 15/01/90.

MforMonkey leggings for 1st and 2nd Generation Licca.

Finished the sweater to go with the school outfit today. Found this lovely grey-purple knit this week and I love how it matches the rest without imposing too much.

Also added closure and buttons for the suit, and sew the sleeveless black shirt that Wataru is wearing underneath.

Mikan here wearing an amazing Amimonopop sweater and some fresh from the sewing machine new Licca cool pants. Should make them a tad longer, I like the wrinkles on the bottom.

They're very simple 2 piece pattern design, specially made to be wear with long top clothes. I like them very much!

Mr. V.: "....ok. I think it's enough..."

Original vintage Licca friend Kurumi fashion. Made by Takara. Packaging is discolored due to age and water damage.

Fango is ready for her first oficial MforM promo photoshoot.

But that is not a real JOB, Wataruuuuu!!!

I think he only wants to get caught by a handsome policeman...
