198 splits the searchlights at Bon Air on it's trip to Columbus and Macon. At one time this was the east end of the Childersburg-Bon Air siding; but the west end switch has been removed an now it functions at the connection track to the former Southern Anniston District (used by coal trains going to the Alabama Power plant at Wilsonville.)
