Spent last night on the beach with some of guys and just had a good ol catch up. About time we all got together a did things like this. Miss the old times. Spot on night before it started raining so figured I had to get something and this is what i came up with. Your cliche long exposure night scene but tried to mix it up a little. More of this please boys.

Bleh. Oh well. Time to wash my face and go to sleep.

Day 198 of 365: Living room shot. Couldn't decide where to go with it, so I zoomed out and showed the setup instead.

At left is an Alien Bee 800 bounced off a white reflector and to its rear is a Nikon SB-80DX mounted on a stand, pointed at my face. Just a little something fun.

Oh, the book is Robert Massie's Nicholas and Alexandra, a re-read from when I was sick. I'm fascinated with the fall of the Romanovs in revolution-era Russia.
