I loved the textures and colours created by the lichen on this old cross.

It's been quite a while since I last took a photo for my 100 strangers project so today I ventured into the city determined to find that special face. I spent some time wandering around and did see quite a few potential subjects but the right opportunity to introduce myself didn't occur. I spotted Marjellyn with her shopping bags finishing her lunch. I sat next to her and explained the project and asked if she would be willing to pose for me. She happily agreed and we moved to a quieter area of the square. I took a bit more time with Marjellyn and managed to get quite a few photos that I was pleased with. I selected this one as it shows the interesting tattoo on her shoulder.

Marjellyn was very patient whilst I snapped away and asked her a few questions about herself. Marjellyn is 22 years old and works as a nursing assistant in one of the large hospitals in the city, she was in the city to meet her sister and do some shopping. Thank you Marjellyn for helping me today and I hope you like the photos.

This picture is #19 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page

Hey guys, this is a V-19 torrent fighter from Clone Wars. It was truly hard to put the wings on the fuselage because they‘re so long and the fuselage is so small. So it isn’t very stable and it got really hard on my nerves 😬. Not only because it couldn’t rest in the flying pose without the framework. But nevertheless I‘m happy with how it looks. I also like the mechanism to move the third wing and the props I put onto the fuselage so that it’s able to stand. I think I’m happy with the result although I could do it better… If you like it please leave a fave or write in the comments below ⬇️😁. There are some MOCs coming soon so don’t forget to check out my channel😉!

We were going out for some snow portraits today because I wanted to get it on this project! This turned out to be my favourite shot and doesn't contain any snow, haha (unless you spot that little patch of white on the bottom). Sometimes when you expect one thing in life, you get a different surprise =) There were some nice snow portraits too, but I just liked the tones and mood of this portrait best!

People are adding flags to the sea of flags, remembering those who died of COVID-19 across the United States.

Each flag was a life lived, loved, laughed, cried, suffered, celebrated, remembered...

By the time this was shot on Oct 2, 2021, the death number had exceeded the number on the sign.

On September 1, 2022, the total death in the U.S. was 1,042,167. (source: NBC News www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/coronavirus-u-s-map-wh...)
