After my stint at the prayer vigil I caught up with Liz & Christa for take-out Subway in the park. It was simply a fabulous day... the Hood River wind kept the temp tolerable, and maintaining hairstyles interesting! ;)

with all this fun color, random rust, and revealed metal around me I couldn't help but snap plenty of shots to play around with Urban Acid again!

This bus was new to Lothian Buses as 188 in 2013.

Now it's time for the 21 and 45 to get new upgraded buses. The 21 has had many changes over the years and is now serving 4 terminus, Leith Links, The Gyle, Clovenstone and The Royal infurmery, a far cry from days gone by.

Sharpless 2-188 (aka PN G128.0.04.1) is the central star 850 light years away travelling at 125 kilometres per second across the sky in the constellation of Cassiopeia.

This image showing only the brightest arc of the much larger nebula. Astronomers believe that the bright structures in the arc observed ahead of Sharpless 2-188 are the bowshock instabilities as revealed in their simulations of this system, which will form whirlpools as they spiral past the star downstream to the tail.

This is a 2hr 20 min integration cropped and resampled 200%, made from 14 x 600s Ha subframes, taken between 2017-06-13 and 2017-06-17.

Equipment: 203mm SCT at f/7 into a SXVF-H9 CCD on an iOptron CEM60-EC mount

Processing: PixInsight - cal, algn, crop, int, decon, hst, tgv, resampled
