Bristol (BAC) 188. This is a high speed research aircraft, which unlike most metal aircraft, is made mainly of stainless steel. It was designed to investigate the effects of heat of aircraft structures at high speed. Only 2 ever flew with a third being used for ground tests. Max speed was Mach 1.88 Powered by de Havilland Gyron Junior engines. XF926.
So it was rather chilly at the SVBM... The bulkhead looks like it had an infection but this is nothing more than cold evostik. The whole thing needed covered and spread out as best I could before it went off.
