I thought this photo was unsalvagable, but after playing with the contrast and saturation I think it just makes it into the passable category.
My twist on the Project 365, this time tracking down the actual numbers to mark the days.
What’s allowed: numbers depicted by figures, ordinals (first, second, 13th etc), roman numerals, words. Photos can be taken at any time, but must have been taken especially for this project.
Restrictions: numbers must be “found” or “natural”, so writing a missing number on a piece of paper and photographing it is not allowed. Times on digital clocks etc may be included, but must have been taken at the actual time (so no setting the time forward or back for convenience).
Added restrictions: pictures must be taken with a 50mm lens, plus use of an extension tube for macro shots. Minimal cropping/enhancement.

OS CASAMENTOS. A EMIGRACIÓN
Esta foto foi tomada no ano 1965. É unha fotografía da voda duns amigos da miña avoa, Dolores Travieso Ladra. Ela tamén sae, é a que está sentada. Están en Montevideo. Todos son emigrantes galegos que marcharon para alí buscando unha vida mellor.
Aínda que estaban fóra de Galicia seguían mantendo os seus costumes e tradicións. De feito, contoume a miña avoa que entre eles seguían falando galego.
Tiñan moita relación entre eles xa que, elas traballaban xuntas, e eles igual. Ían para as súas casas camiñando e falando das súas cousas todos os días.
Foi aquí, en Montevideo, onde coñeceu ao meu avó, José Diego González, grazas ás xuntanzas de galegos que había. Tempo despois de coñecerse casaron alí e tiveron dous fillos, o meu tío e a miña nai.
