Bellagio [174/365] - When we booked our trip we insisted on staying in the Bellagio. It was the fountain that had me sold. I realize that you don't have to be a guest to watch the amazing fountain show, but I wanted to stay there regardless. In the 4 days that we stayed there I was never in the right place at the right time to get that perfect fountain and hotel photo... but that just means you'll have to go see it for yourself! I'm so glad that we chose it.
It was great day in Vegas. We woke up, headed to the pool and soaked up the desert sun. SO HOT! We spent the day shopping, where I bought way too much clothing. The highlight of the day was our Eiffel Tower drinks... stay tuned for a photo of that. I've never had so much rum in my life. That drink led to many adventures on the Vegas strip and wandering the shopping mall. The things you buy when you are drinking... Kimmy left with a barking toy dog and I proudly purchased a toy airplane. There were so many stories from this day/night, but way too many to write about. More photos to come!

This was super delicious: a basic chicken salad made with leftover roasted chicken, celery, red grapes, shallots, a yogurt, and mayonnaise served in red leaf lettuce cups. Later in the week I had it again with green curly leaf (I finished all the red leaf) and weirdly it was not as good. Those leaves had a bitterness that wasn't tasty.

Francesca is an action figure (from Takara) head on a Liv body. Simon is a fashionistas ken, first I just took his body but then I decided I liked him, so I gave him another fashionistas body.. whew. Switching ken heads is a pain. Sometime between stealing and restoring his body I also fried his hair with a hairdryer, but that seems to have worked out for the best.
Simon's horrible, ratty sweater is my way of showing love for men who seem to wear the same horrible, ratty sweater all year round. Ok I guess that is a pretty weird thing to say, but I've known a few guys who had an affinity for horrible ratty sweaters and they all happened to be cute. Coincidence?
In case it isn't clear, they are looking for a four leaf clover here!
Bunny for Craig (James) who does some of the most badass, rabbit candids I know! I found this guy while strolling the Wash downtown, he had the right idea in finding shade as the heat and humidity have been terrible the last few days. Weather calls for nice and pleasent weather the next couple days. The out of focus areas seen here in the foreground are caused by me focusing on the bunny thru the bushes, which was a hard task as any with my 180mm 2.8 ED AI-S lens.
