Peu de trains le dimanche matin après l'ICN, le seul bien exposé ce matin là était malheureusement un Omneo sur le TER n°14050
Electric locomotive 193 523 with a RoLa (Rollende Landstraße) train from Freiburg (Germany) to Novara Boschetto (Italy).
2023 fût la dernière année pour les TER "Rémi Express" Paris – Orléans / Bourges / Tours en Corail.
Le nouveau service horaire 2024, appliqué en décembre 2023, a drastiquement réduit les trains TER Centre assurés en Corail sur la ligne Paris–Orléans, qui se cantonnent désormais aux quelques trains omnibus Paris – Étampes – Orléans.
Ici, la BB 7206 "En Voyage" assure le TER n°14050 Orléans – Paris-Austerlitz.
La 26001, portant encore la livrée "En Voyage", vient de passer la gare d'Artenay en tête du train V160 n° 14050 Orléans 09h27 - Paris-Austerlitz 10h35.

Bonjour à tous, en ce samedi 2 juillet 2022, la BB 7269 était en tête du TER 14050 Orléans - Paris Austerlitz.
Le train est vu à Monnerville (91) quelques minutes avant le passage de la 141R840 et sa rame historique.
Bluebird Buses' BYD D8UR-DD/Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV's 14050/44 (LC71 KVR/J) are seen here on Union street operating city services 6 and 7 to Union Square bus station.
LC71 KVR is a BYD D8UR-DD/Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV new to Bluebird Buses in February 2022 as their number 14050.

A laser-like beam of sunlight reaches 130' below the ground to the floor of Upper Antelope Canyon. I highly recommend a wide angle zoom lens when shooting at this popular location. There is a lot of dust and sand blowing into this slot canyon (and the 4 other slot canyons I was in during this trip), so any lens changing should be done inside a protective bag. A towel or other protection for the camera and lens is also a good idea.
I captured this image back in 2010, but it is one of my favorites. I took advantage of a recent Canvas On Demand 50% off deal (ends today: www.the-digital-picture.com/News/News-Post.aspx?News=14050) to have a 56x37" canvas print of it created. The canvas looks great and is leaning against the wall in my studio awaiting me to hang it.

Seen in the frame is Abu Road's BALDIE WDM3A 14050 powering 12905 PBR - HWH Aradhana SF Express while a light Sabarmati WDG4 waits for Sabarmati WDP4D 40258 to clear the mainline which was reversing in the background.

The 05:30 Rewari Junction to Phulera Passenger 59716 approaches its destination in the care of Abu Road [ABR] allocated WDM-3A 'Baldie' 14050. Within an hour, the Alco hauled 11:30 FL-RE Passenger 59719 would be making the return journey via Ringas Junction.

The old arc lamp driven movie projectors that are basically intact in the projection booth.
EDIT: Did a little research and these are Strong 14050 series arc lamps from the 1930's sometime. 27 volts at 40 amps to drive the arc. The "Art Deco" design alone would be a giveaway as to about when they were made. Strongs from other eras are distinctly more utilitarian looking from what I've seen -- not the smooth lines of these.
Strong invented the self-regulating carbon arc using a DC motor mechanism with the arc current going through the field windings to adjust the motor speed to feed the electrode to keep the arc current constant as the electrodes wore down.
Pretty cool and elegantly simple: DC motor speed varies inversely with the field current -- so as the electrodes wore the field current would drop and the motor would speed up bring the electrodes closer and bring the current back up. The rheostat on the back allowed fine tuning the regulator.
Made another trip to "Embersville", this time with my friend Vinny. This was his first official "urbex" trip though he's been a bit of an explorer his whole life.
The site is an old asylum and rehabilitation facility that also had buildings repurposed as as a home for troubled youth, a police station, and many other functions.
Miles and miles of steam and untility tunnels, stairs, and endless buildings, floors, and rooms. A good but quite tiring day.
