Captured arriving at the Nottingham Heritage Vehicles Charity Derbyshire Dales Bus & Train Festival at Peak Rails Rowsley South Station, is United liveried C131HJN (1401) a Plaxton Paramount 3200 Express bodied Leyland Tiger. This was new to Eastern National (1131) in 02/1986 before passing to United and onto sister company Tees, after leaving Tees C131HJN passed to Henry Cooper of Annitsford, where it wore the registration ESU110.

Illinois Central Gulf Railroad SW14 1401 at Hawthorne Yard\ in Cicero, Illinois on October 15,1983, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in October 1950 as IC SW7 9325 (c/n 16432) on EMD Order 4184, it was renumbered to 1225. During 1978 it was rebuilt to ICG SW14 1401, later becoming IC 1401, and later still RMPX 1401. It appears this was an attempt to standardize window glazing, one size fits all.

3T 1401, Portsmouth Harbour. 7 July 1984. This is one of the 2H units augmented with an intermediate driving trailer to become a class 3T (BR class 204) although the end is marked as a 3H (Class 205)!

A forgotten gem.
Ribble 1401 departs from Windermere Station with a southbound service towards Lancaster. The bus is a Leyland Atlantean with Park Royal bodywork in Sealink livery, new in 1976.

Brussels Town Hall is built in 1401-1455 in Gothic style. It is located on the famous Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium. It is the only remaining medieval building of the Grand Place and is considered a masterpiece of civil Gothic architecture and more particularly of Brabantine Gothic. I built this LEGO model in 2021.
