136 cruises along the French Broad river east of Alexander, NC bound for Asheville with the S&A on the point.
I find it hard to go past items from years gone by. This old wagon wheel has seen better days & I'm sure has done many a mile. I love the depth of texture & lines of these classics and never tire of them.
We come across stone piles like this in random places all the time. I'm not really sure what it's all about? These two piles were begging to be photographed. This was taken in a marsh area near Gold Creek Pond in Washington.
CSX 8139 leads train Q-136 at CP RIVERTON in McKeesport, PA on March 28, 1997. The tracks going up the ramp to the left were the URR that crossed the Mon River and was used to access the Camp Hill Mill in McKeesport. It is now a bike trail.
