Awaiting Tug assistance into the Port of Rosyth
She arrived on the Firth of Forth on the 3/3/11 after an epic 11,800nm voyage from China where this giant crane 'Goliath' was built and was utilised for the two big future British Aircraft Carriers QueenElizabeth & Prince of Wales assembled at Rosyth.
The modules for both ships are being made in ports all over the UK and will eventually be barged to Rosyth. Note the Royal Navy flag on the crane. Here she is being guided downstream by Forth Ports Tugs from her overnight anchorage near to Hopetoun House. Taken from Society Point.

When going through Newbury on the canal you sail past Costa coffee shop ..,mostly people watch us ...probably in the hope something will go wrong in the fast river current!!...but these guys were heavily into their conversation, thus giving me a chance to catch them in full flow!!
Kumik headsculpt 13-20... and what an absolute corker it is too! This is the production paint job - haven't had to retouch anything (though she has a slight rub on her lower lip I'll probably cover up at some point).Her separate rooted scalp is still a bit of a pain to put on but with that face I can forgive her anything ;)
She's on a Kumik body. These aren't perfect - the wobbly ankles are a problem area but they're pretty cheap bodies, the skin tones match up and the poseability ain't bad. For those interested, with a little bit of work (carving out the joint inside her head) she probably wouldn't look too out of place on an FR body either.

...But first I basted all the jacket seams to check the fit - on me!
I then removed the basting from the shoulder and side seams ready for the next stage.

Algunos datos curiosos como el hecho de que se evite el 13 en la Fórmula 1, que en algunos portales se omita el número 13 o que en Madrid no exista la línea 13 de autobús, demuestran este recelo en nuestra sociedad. Otros datos revelan cómo la vida de una persona como Richard Wagner parece estar ligada a dicho número, nació en un año acabado en 13, la suma de las letras de su nombre y apellido son 13, los números de su año de nacimiento (1813) suman también 13, compuso 13 óperas y falleció un día 13.
Se suele decir: “En martes 13 no te cases ni te embarques, ni de tu familia te apartes”. En Francia, por ejemplo, nunca se le da a una casa el número trece en su dirección. En Italia, la lotería nacional lo omite. Las líneas aéreas internacionales obvian ese número en los asientos de los aviones. En los Estados Unidos, los edificios rascacielos y departamentos dan al piso que sigue al 12 el número 14.
En los Estados Unidos, el trece sería considerado como un número con suerte. Forma parte de muchos de los símbolos nacionales, ya que en el reverso de los billetes de banco hay una pirámide incompleta de trece escalones, el águila heráldica sostiene en una garra una rama de olivo con trece hojas y trece frutos, y en la otra, trece flechas.
