Honey's new window pillow. She likes to sleep in the warm sun coming in the window.
Note to me: We must clean the doggy nose marks off the glass.
Maggie out for a walk down to Dave's dad house. Here were crossing the bridge over his creek.

It's one of those great imponderable questions like how do you tell the dancer from the dance?
In this case, how can you tell the cat from the cushion?
It's a horrible dull grey day so I thought it was time for Bella to earn her cat food and provide me with a subject for my 365 project

Vue juste avant Saverne, une serie 13 belge au droit de l'ancien quai de Monsviller sous un ciel plutôt cahotique; septembre 2019
this photo incidentally looks like photos i took around this time 13 yrs ago, in the autumn of 2011. which incidentally look like they sound like the band pavement ((because i listened to them all the time back then))
I was starting to get discouraged by this point in the walk, I could hear the birds calling but none were really visible, they were busy singing from the tops of the tree.
Happily as we rounded a corner I spotted this little lady perched and happy to pose.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

This project is taking much longer than my usual projects. It's not complicated or big but I keep getting distracted by other crochet projects that have a 'best before' date, like crochet hearts and a hat for a friend who lost his.
Eventually it'll get done, at least it's always easy to pick up where I left off.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

Last year I swapped some home grown tomato plants for a plant I've never grown in my garden, Teasel. I'm pleased to say several teasel were given to me and once they flowered they where enjoyed by lots of insects especially bees. This is one of the seedheads taken macro 1:1 using flash and LED spotlights.

So, in the spirit of trying new things this year, I had a go at focus stacking today. It's not nearly good enough and I wish that I had pulled out that odd little petal(!) but I've made a foray into something new which hopefully I can develop this year.

i always love reading peoples descriptions on finishing their 365s, how they realise how much they're developed and grown. i think one thing this project showed me is i'd never ever be able to do a 365 ahaha.
my new shoes arrived today and they make me happy, i don't want to take them off.
