AS16-113-18289 (16-27 April 1972) --- Earth rises over the lunar horizon, with the Apollo 16 Command and Services Modules (CSM) to the left of Earth. This photograph was taken from the Lunar Module (LM) "Orion" before the two Apollo 16 spacecraft re-joined following the CSM's failure to make the circularization burn on April 20, 1972. Astronaut Thomas K. Mattingly II, command module pilot, was inside the CSM "Casper", while astronauts John W. Young, commander, and Charles M. Duke Jr., lunar module pilot, were manning the LM. While astronauts Young and Duke descended in the LM to explore the Descartes region of the moon, astronaut Mattingly remained with the CSM in lunar orbit.

A really dull day and I assume I'm out as a result of another duff BBC weather forecast. However, the lack of sun allowed an unconventional shot of 113 "Belfast & Co Down) entering Laytown with the 11.00 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central.

Preserved Leyland Fleetline/Roe GCT 113 (MBE 613R), is seen at Cleethorpes Pier (Sea Road terminus) on 16th September 2018.
Purchased from Stagecoach in summer 2017, this joined their fleet after they purchased Grimsby Cleethorpes Transport in 1994.
Today was its homecoming day, with it spending just over 6 hours retracing some routes it will have operated in GCT days most prior to it being converted to an open top in 1994.
It is about to work the 17 to Fitties Camp.
New to Grimsby Cleethorpes Transport in December 1976.
