The main staircase, now we're full circle on the lower level. I believe the door you see is the bathroom. The side entrance is to the left of that.
Rene: Why are we hanging out here? No Synth likes to be this close to Robotics.
Priscilla: That's why this place is perfect. Have you ever thought about.. leaving?
Rene: To the surface? But it's madness up there! We have everything we need in the Institute.
Priscilla: Besides good food. I'm so sick of the same paste and purified water every day.
Rene: Just three days?
Priscilla: That's my entire life! We never get to explore when we go with him.
Rene: Yeah.. I get the feeling he's keeping an eye on us.
Priscilla: Well, we can't teleport out without Sherlock. But we should at least visit that prisoner.
Rene: I forgot about him! He's probably so hungry right now.
One of my friends is leaving for Europe for an extended stay. I’ve been hanging out with them a lot more before they leave and meeting so many of their friends. Kaitee is one of those friends. We had the pleasure of meeting each other when her and my friend had planned to do a shoot. I was really tired that day, having already worked 8 hours by 2pm. I was tagging along to help out if need be. I ended up taking more photos than helping, but that’s usually how the photo shoots go with my friend.
The three of us headed to Crescent Beach, specifically Blackie Spit. The area is gorgeous, and I had it fresh in my mind since I had been filming there with Sebastien (111/365) over the past few days. Before the beginning I had the idea to grab an icecream cone and get some tumblr trendy shots, including the one you see here. It ended up dying Kaitee’s teeth blue, though luckily it wasn’t noticeable in the photos. I got a second wind around this point and began doing cartwheels while her and my friend finished up their shots. We planned to meet at the studio a bit later for a few last takes.
While they grabbed dinner, I set up the studio and got everything prepped. I had a shoot the next day with La Biosthetique and wanted to get the lighting just right. We nailed it in only a couple of shots and were almost finished. I tore down and that was the end of the day. I really enjoyed getting to meet yet another of my friend’s friends. Hopefully you’ll be able to see more of her in my upcoming projects, but we’ll see what happens!

Today you went on a four mile bike ride with your best girlfriends next door. I am SO proud of you. When we first moved here you were not interested in the least in hiking or doing anything outdoorsy. Now you are volunteering to do these things.
You embrace life and most of the opportunities it presents to you. You aren't afraid to try new things.
I know that it isn't always easy for you and you have grown up so much even this past year!
Ghost Stories ~ The Opera House ~ Woodstock, Illinois
Legend has it that a ghost, dubbed "Elvira" by the local theater folk was once a beautiful actress who was up for a lead part in a ballet. She was so upset when she didnt get it, she committed suicide by jumping from the tower of the theater.
From the time of this event, the theater has been haunted by her spirit. She even has a favorite seat in the theater, number 113, and many have witnessed this spring-loaded seat slowly lower as the ghost comes to rest there. Strange sounds have also been heard coming from the vicinity of this seat, including sighs of impatience or approval whenever the show is or is not to her spectral liking. Odd occurrences sometimes take place during performances too, like props falling and disappearing from the stage. Actors and staff at the theater also claim to occasionally catch glimpses of a phantom with long, golden hair.
When I was in the theater taking photos, I was all alone and I have to admit, there was a very strange sense about the place. I stood at the stage and looked out over the many seats, walked around from side to side, up and down isles, up to the balcony area, checking out stairwells, the whole 9 yards looking for compositions. I cant explain it but I remember how I always felt like I was being watched, like I wasnt alone. I found myself looking over my shoulder a lot but didnt really let this uneasiness get to me. I just went about my business with the photoshoot.
I shot this on March 3, not knowing any of this about the "ghost" until today, March 28. I was going through my archives and found this shot and decided to post it but I wanted to include some history of the building. I found this strange ghost story instead and thought it was much more interesting.
Had I known about this ghost story when I was on location March 3, you can bet I would have gone straight to seat #113. Who knows what photos I might have come out of there with.
On second thought, who knows if I would have come out of there at all.

An unusual part of Nottingham to see Trent Barton vehicles these days is on Upper Parliament Street, since their services from Victoria Centre were diverted to operate via Burton Street to ease congestion through here.
113 caught me off guard trundling through Nottingham Upper Parliament Street with a Mainline.
