Fernando ya nos tiene acostumbrados a las joyitas que captura y que ha capturado a lo largo de los años ! esta vez nos sorprende con un ejemplar bastante particular... si bien no estoy 100 % seguro con el modelo, me atrevo a decir que es uno de estos viejos FLC... también se que habían unidades 4x2 originales, tal como había en varios modelos de esta marca, solo que no eran muy abundantes... Genial Hallazgo ! ideal para comenzar un nuevo mes :) !

Remarks/comments: Another visit to my local thrift store proved fruitful again. A new casting to my collection this one. I like the opening rear piece on this olive green garbage truck. I think I may paint the cab white just because the majority of them here are blue or white depending on company liveries.
c/n 3341406. At Saint Petersburg-Pulkovo Airport, Russia. Delivered to Aeroflot as CCCP-11242 in 1984. Reregistered as RA-11242 in 1992. Withdrawn from use in 1997 and presumably scrapped.

La Re 4/4 II 11242 est en tête d'un train marchandise avec 3 véhicules moteurs remorqués (2x Am 843 Cargo + 1 Tm 234 AK) en provenance de Domodossola et de Brig, se dirige sur Lausanne triage en quittant la capital du Valais, Sion.
Il croise le 64131 Saint-Triphon > Brig avec une Re 8/8 et ces 9 wagons citernes. (visible au second plan, sur la photo les deux trains sont entiers)
En arrière plan, le Château de Tourbillon (au milieu) du XIIe Siècle et à ça droite, la Basilique (ou château) de Valère du XIIe Siècle.

Modell's Sporting Goods was an initial tenant here, opening in 1999 with the rest of the center. In late 2014, they quietly closed their store allowing Duluth Trading Co. to open on November 3, 2016. This is their first local store and seems to reverse the trend of store closures in the center so far.

José me comentaba que esta unidad llegó así nueva desde Canadá y se ha mantenido en el mismo estado :) ! a pesar de que se ven algo extraños los Americanos 4x2, hay que destacar que tira pinta la maquina...

La verdad es que no me gustan mucho los Americanos 4x2... pero hay que destacar que este se ve genial !! es un injerto medio raro el de este FRG, pero se agradece la dedicación y el cuidado que le han proporcionado !! he visto a este camión en Antofagasta y Calama...

Im alten Ortszentrum der Stadtgemeinde Hainburg steht an der Freyungs Strasse dieser etwa 3m hohe spätbarocke Pranger aus Sandstein. Der heutige Standort war die "alte Freyung" wie früher ein Hauptplatz hiess. Er ruht in 174m SH im Ortsried auf einem neuerrichteten Grundfundament auf dem ein neuer rechteckiger Sockelstein aufliegt. Darauf ein viereckiger leicht gefaster Schaft dessen Fasung durch kleine Zungen ober- und unterhalb begrenzt wird. Am Schaft sind zwei eiserne erneuerte Arm- und eine Halsschliesse befestigt. Darüber ein umlaufender Sims und ein kurzes Halsstück in dem die Jahreszahl: 1724 eingraviert ist. Am Schaft ein leicht überkragender gekuppelter Helm auf dem ein Pinienzapfen aufgerichtet ist. Ursprünglich stand diese Prangersäule am Kirchenplatz, früher der offiziell Marktplatz von Hainburg, vor der heutigen Stadtpfarrkirche (1706) nahe der 1749 errichteten Mariensäule. Seine letzte Verwendung dort als Pranger erfolgte 1756 als hier eine Missetäterin an den Pranger gefesselt wurde. Nach dem Erlass Josefs II. 1787 über den Abbruch der Pranger und Galgen wurde der Pranger abmontiert und in ein Gemeindedepot gebracht. 1957 erinnerte man sich der alten Gerichtsbarkeitssäule und stellte diese an seinem heutigen Standort, dem alten Hauptplatz (Freyung) der Stadt, erneut auf. In der Gründungszeit von Hainburg war hier um die Freyung und dem Kirchhof das Zentrum der alten Stadt mit der abgetragenen alten Martinskirche, mit seinem Friedhof, mit seiner hohen Lichtsäule und Karner. Der ursprünglich Standort der ersten Pranger von Hainburg war bereits an dieser Stelle angesiedelt. Der Pranger wurde zuletzt im Auftrag der Gemeinde 2006 vom Atelier Pummer aus Rossatz restauriert.
